MOTOR CIRCUIT ANALYSIS
Applications
- AC motors
- DC motors
Requirements
Requirements are industry specific and we will advise you what we need to be of service to you when we schedule your survey.
Timeline
Motor Circuit Analysis intervals are dependent on the industry and size of the relevant motors.
Reporting
Upon completion, we furnish the client with a comprehensive report of our observations and our risk mitigating recommendations.
Motor circuit analysis (MCA) is one of the leading disciplines in predictive maintenance. Using this technology, we are able to pinpoint the exact defects inside the electrical components of motors. Predictive maintenance specialists can detect faults in electrical machinery by using vibration analysis or infrared imaging, but cannot always determine the exact cause. This is where MCA comes into its own as a diagnostic tool.
Using MCA we are able to determine electrical faults within motors, such as resistance anomalies, winding contamination, winding shorts, insulation to ground, imbalances and rotor and back iron anomalies.
This technology can be used on both AC and DC electrical motors. Please contact our offices for an obligation-free quotation or discussions on how our specialists could assist you in the development of a comprehensive predictive maintenance regime.
